Georgia Secretary of State’s Office hosts Financially Fit program in Albany
ALBANY, Ga. – The Georgia Secretary of State’s Office is continuing a state-wide campaign geared towards helping small business owners.
The program, known as Financially Fit, made a stop on the West Campus of Albany State University this morning to provide a question and answer session for many of southwest Georgia’s local business owners.
Financially Fit has been operating across the state since 2022 with the goal of strengthening small businesses.
A representative from the Secretary of State’s Office tells us how this goes into keeping Georgia as the premiere state for commerce.
“We want to keep Georgia number one in business. And, we believe that Georgia has incredible talent in the entrepreneur space. And, we really support that. Our office supports that and we want to give them the resources, have them make the connections that they need to have them grow and expand their businesses,” said Noula Zaharis, Direc. Securities and Charities Div., Ga. Secretary of State.
Financially Fit has made stops across the state including Atlanta, Macon, and Valdosta.
