Albany Fire Department’s breast cancer awareness yard sale fundraiser

ALBANY, Ga. – The Albany Fire Department (AFD) is hosting its first-ever “Super City Yard Sale” on October 5th.

Whether you’re looking to rent a table and sell your items or stop by as a buyer to snag some great deals, there’s something for everyone.

But… that’s not all… Take a guided tour of the fire station, and let the kids explore the fire trucks up close! It’s a day full of fun, shopping, and community spirit.

“Well, this particular event is, supporting breast cancer awareness and research is something that the Albany Fire Department has supported throughout the years. So, we were just looking for a little bit more of an innovative way to engage the public and help raise funds for that cause. Most definitely. We have extended table sales to October the 1st so they can call (229) 302-1901 to reserve a table there for $15. All proceeds from table sales, as well as any monetary donations, will go to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Fund,” said Latonza Mosley, office manager.

The yard sale is set for Saturday, October 5th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Albany Fire Station 1, located at 320 North Jackson Street.
