Apalachee High School shooter and father make first court appearances, to remain in custody
WINDER, Ga. – On Friday morning, the 14-year-old suspect, Colt Gray, in the Apalachee High School shooting appeared in court for a brief hearing.
Police also arrested his father, Colin Gray, in connection with the crime.
CBS News reporter Dave Malkof has the latest from Winder.
Since the suspect is under 18, the most he can face is life without parole. The judge scheduled another hearing for December 4.
Of the 9 injured in Wednesday’s shooting, at least 7 have been released from the hospital, and all are expected to fully recover.
