Colquitt Regional Medical Center awarded by physician survey for excellence in patient care
MOULTRIE, Ga. – Colquitt Regional Medical Center receives praises for its excellence in patient care.
The survey, conducted every 18 months by Press Ganey, a global leader in healthcare experience solutions, gauges the satisfaction of physicians on the Colquitt Regional medical staff.
“This honor was only given out to seven hospitals in the nation. So, we are one of seven hospitals to earn this award for physician experience. All of our physicians have the opportunity to take this survey. And, the results of those studies show that our physicians are highly aligned, highly engaged, and have an excellent level of wellness in providing care for our community,” said Dr. Michael Brown, Chief Medical Officer, Pulmonary Critical Care Physician.
In the latest survey, Colquitt Regional earned impressive scores, exceeding 4 out of 5 in key areas such as engagement, alignment, and resilience.
“It’s absolutely reassuring to our health care providers that they know that they have a voice in our organization. That our administrative team, that our hospital board value our physicians here. Overall, everyone is focused towards what is most important, and that’s patient care,” said Dr. Brown.
Colquitt Regional continues to prioritize the well-being of its healthcare providers and their integral role in the community.
“In order to have the Pinnacle of Excellence Award, we will have sustained high marks for physician excellence and physician experience for over three years. This is not a fluke. We continue to recognize the importance of our health care providers having a voice and ultimately providing that voice in representing our community. Our health care organization, its mission, its focus is on our community and our hospital board, our administrative team and our medical staff, our nurses. Every team member recognizes this and contributes to that. We all recognize that we are part of something bigger,” said Dr. Brown.
