Cordele Lions Club to hold blood drive

CORDELE, Ga. – Moving to Cordele, the Cordele Lions Club is hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, September 3rd, at the Cordele Community Clubhouse between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The Lions Club is a global service organization that is dedicated to making a positive impact in communities around the world.

Their mission is simple – to spread kindness, empower the youth, and create a better future.

That is why they’ve teamed up with the Red Cross for this blood drive, open to anyone who is willing to donate to those in need.

Haley Wade, Crisp Co. Sheriff’s Office PIO and Cordele Lions Club member spoke to us about the significance of donating blood.

The blood drive will take place at the Cordele Community Clubhouse between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. next week on Tuesday.
