Lee Co. Georgia Community Bank Exec. V.P. Cooper in court

LEESBURG, Ga. – In more recent developments, the Executive Vice President of Georgia Community Bank was arrested Sunday night on charges of aggravated assault and battery family violence.

Jemison “Jimmy” Cooper was booked at 11:30 pm last night.

According to Lee County Chief Deputy Louis Harris, Cooper faces charges of 1 count of aggravated assault, 1 count of battery family violence, false imprisonment, and criminal damage to property in the second degree.

Cooper is scheduled for his first appearance at 2 pm today at the Lee County Magistrate Courthouse.

We contacted staff at Georgia Community Bank, but they have yet to comment at this time.
