PCOM South Georgia’s Fundamental Integration Required for Excellence program gives Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine students a head start
MOULTRIE, Ga. – Staying in Colquitt county, the Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce is getting ready to welcome new members to the community.
The Chamber of Commerce and several local businesses are teaming up with the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine to welcome the newest class of students.
Local business owners are coming together to showcase all the community has to offer to these students.
Chamber president, Caitlyn Hatcher, says that they want the city of Moultrie to put its best foot forward and give incoming students a compelling reason to stay in southwest Georgia.
“These students mean a lot to our community. This campus means a lot to our community, and it’s vital that we as a community support them in return. And so we’re very thrilled to have our businesses here, to have the students come here, to have just the support of the faculty and staff from PCOM. It means a lot to us,” said Caitlyn Hatcher, President, Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce.
“These students are the future of Moultrie, possibly residing here in Colquitt county. So, we’re very hopeful for them to be able to gather all the information of Colquitt county. So, we’re very happy to host this for them,” said Jasmine Luna, Program Services Dir., Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce.
Orientation for the new class at the college is scheduled for Wednesday.
