Crisp Co. Sheriff’s Office drug investigation search warrant and arrest
CORDELE, Ga. – On Thursday, July 25th at 5:50 p.m., the Crisp County Special Response Team (SRT) and Mid-South Narcotics Task Force (M.S.N.T.F) executed a search warrant at 813 17th Avenue West, Apartment B, in Cordele. They also executed an arrest warrant for 32-year-old Curtis Harper and searched his vehicle, a silver Chevrolet Tahoe.
Authorities found suspected marijuana, a digital scale, packaging materials, and a pistol at the residence.
Curtis Harper, 32, of Cordele, faces charges including:
- Felony possession of marijuana
- Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
- Possession of tools for commission of a crime
- Theft by receiving stolen property
- Criminal use of altered ID articles
- Crossing state/county lines with drugs
The M.S.N.T.F focuses on combating illegal drug activities and supports educational programs on drug use. The Crisp County Sheriff’s Office leads the M.S.N.T.F, with the SRT consisting of members from Crisp, Turner, and Dooly County Sheriff’s Offices.
