Dougherty County Police Department to host National Night Out at the Fairgrounds
ALBANY, Ga. – The Dougherty County Police Department (DCPD) is excited to announce the upcoming National Night Out event, scheduled for July 25, 2024, at the Exchange Club Fairgrounds.
This annual event, which focuses on building community partnerships and promoting safety, will also include a back-to-school theme to help students prepare for the upcoming school year.
“We look forward to National Night Out every year,” said Dougherty County Police Chief Kenneth Johnson, “It is a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with our community, promote safety, and ensure that everyone is prepared for the school year ahead. We are thrilled to have the support of various state, federal, and local agencies to make this event a success.”
National Night Out is a nationwide event that aims to strengthen relationships between the community and law enforcement. This year’s event promises to be one of the biggest yet, featuring participation from all state and federal agencies, as well as several local organizations.
