Arrests made in east Albany nightclub Reflextions Lounge homicide

ALBANY, Ga. – On Friday morning, at around 2 am, officers with the Albany Police Department responded to a call about a shooting at the Reflextions Lounge in the 300 block of Thornton Drive.

Upon arrival, officers located 21-year-old Daveyon Tyrone Wakefield deceased, after he suffered from gunshot wounds.

Three other males suffered gunshot wounds and were taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and are currently in stable condition.

It was determined that a physical altercation took place inside of the lounge which lead to gunfire erupting in the parking lot between rival gang members.

19-year-old Cosha Zyemma Brown, 21-year-old Angel Lakeisha Wingfield was arrested and charged with affray, 26-year-old Jayquan Levantae Miller was arrested and charged with obstruction of law enforcement officer, and 19-year-old Donell Germain Thomas was arrested and charged with murder.

All four were transported to the Dougherty County Jail. More arrests are to be expected.
