Three arrested after drug bust by Albany-Dougherty Special Investigative Unit (S.I.U.)

ALBANY, Ga. – In another development out of Albany, on Thursday, May 23rd, the Albany-Dougherty Special Investigative Unit (S.I.U) executed a search warrant at 1309 Edgerly Avenue.

Outside the residence, authorities made contact with 62-year-old Emmitt Hunt Jr.

Inside the home, they found 32-year-old Kourtney Donnell Roberts and 41-year-old Olillian Be’etta Toombs.

The search yielded 6.3 pounds of marijuana, 4.4 ounces of powder cocaine, mushrooms, oxycodone pills, digital scales, over $3,000 in cash, and illegal firearms.

All three individuals were arrested and transported to the Dougherty County Jail.

The search yielded:
– 2,865.3 grams of marijuana (6.3 lbs)
– 125.6 grams of powder cocaine (4.4 oz)
– 4.8 grams of mushrooms
– 255 oxycodone pills
– 4 digital scales
– $3,665 in cash
– 1 stolen 9mm Glock 19
– 1 stolen .380 Glock 42
– 1 .38 caliber Smith & Wesson revolver
– 1 FMK AR-15 with altered serial number

All three individuals were arrested and charged as follows:

Kourtney Donnell Roberts:
1. Trafficking in cocaine
2. Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
3. Possession of schedule ii controlled substance with intent to distribute (oxycodone)
4. Possession of drug-related objects
5. Theft by receiving stolen property (2 counts)
6. Possession of firearms during commission of a crime (4 counts)
7. Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (4 counts)
8. Possession of a firearm with altered identification

Olillian Be’etta Toombs:
1. Trafficking in cocaine
2. Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
3. Possession of schedule ii controlled substance with intent to distribute (oxycodone)
4. Possession of drug-related objects
5. Theft by receiving stolen property (1 count)
6. Possession of firearms during commission of a crime (3 counts)
7. Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (3 counts)
8. Possession of a firearm with altered identification

Emmitt Hunt Jr.:
– possession of marijuana less than an ounce
