Acworth man arrested on drug charges in Crisp Co. traffic stop
CORDELE, Ga. – Around 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, a Crisp County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a blue Honda CRV for speeding on GA 401, I-75 near mile marker 104.
The driver, Frederick Davies, failed to provide the deputy with a valid license. The deputy also detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and observed an open container of alcohol in the cup holder.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of several illegal narcotics. Davies was arrested and transported to the Crisp County Detention Center without incident.
Frederick Davies, a 47-year-old male from Acworth, Georgia, faces multiple charges, including:
– speeding
– driving with a suspended license
– DUI less safe
– open container
– identification fraud (7 counts)
– possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
– use of a firearm in the commission of a crime
– trafficking methamphetamine
– possession of cocaine with intent to distribute
– possession of MDMA (ecstasy) with intent to distribute
– possession of psilocybin with intent to distribute
– possession of marijuana with intent to distribute (felony)
– possession of THC edibles with intent to distribute
– possession of THC oil with intent to distribute
– possession of schedule II substances with intent to distribute
– possession of heroin
– pills not in original container
