Arrest made in Albany Radium Springs homicide case

ALBANY, Ga. – At around 4:34 p.m. on April 24th, the Ben Hill County Sheriff’s Office notified the Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigative Bureau about the apprehension of 24-year-old Malik Frazier within their jurisdiction.

Frazier was identified in connection with the shooting death of 29-year-old Markel Jamal Harper on March 6th, 2024, at the 1000 block of Radium Springs Road.

Following his apprehension, Frazier was transported back to Dougherty county the same day and booked on charges of Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
