Off-duty Crisp Co. deputy arrested for alleged DUI

CORDELE, Ga. – Around midnight on Sunday, Georgia State Patrol (GSP) responded to a two-vehicle accident involving an off-duty sheriff’s deputy on 24th Avenue East, near 4th Street, in Cordele.

22-year-old Kendall Evans was arrested for alleged DUI and was booked into the Crisp County Detention Center. Evans has since been released on bond.

Georgia State Patrol (GSP) is currently investigating the accident. Crisp County EMS transported two individuals to Crisp Regional Hospital, both of whom were later released.
