APD officers arrest mother for Reckless Conduct of a child
ALBANY, Ga. – On March 31, 2024, officers responded to the 200 block of Monarch Dr. in reference to an unresponsive child. The child was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, and is in stable condition.
On April 1, 2024, investigators arrested the mother of the child 23-year-old, Na’Quon Hunt.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Hunt allowed the child to consume a substance that contained THC. A lab test was conducted at the hospital and it was confirmed the child consumed THC.
Hunt was charged with Reckless Conduct and was taken to the Dougherty County Jail.
