Albany armed robbery suspects receive 7-year prison sentences
ALBANY, Ga. – Over a year after a harrowing armed robbery at the scene at Sandhill Apartments in Albany, perpetrators face formal charges.
On October 4th of 2022, officers from the Albany Police Department (APD) responded to a reported armed robbery at 405 East Whitney Avenue.
The suspects involved, including Cladarius Ceaser, now deceased, along with 20-year-old Jarvis Burton, 20-year-old Kedrick Singletary, and 18-year-old Kenyon Johnson, were apprehended and transported to the Dougherty County Jail.
On Monday, March 25th, the remaining suspects were found guilty of charges including robbery by intimidation, possession of a firearm during certain crimes, and participation in a gang. Burton, Singletary, and Johnson each received a sentence of 7 years in prison.
