APD identifies person of interest in Albany Humane Society break-in
ALBANY, Ga. – We have an update to a story we brought to your attention last night… Albany Police Department (APD) has now identified a person of interest in connection with a break-in reported earlier this week at the Albany Humane Society.
Around 2:26 am on March 19th, authorities responded to a burglary at 1705 West Oakridge Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered the front door glass shattered.
An employee reported missing puppies and other items after conducting a survey of the area.
Surveillance footage was obtained for potential suspects. Investigators are currently seeking a person of interest in the incident, identified as 30-year-old Darius Dentrall Parker.

The three puppies taken during this incident have yet to be found – please remain vigilant and on the look out for them.
