ALDI discount grocery store holds grand opening in Tifton
TIFTON, Ga. – ALDI, the renowned discount grocery chain, is marking a significant expansion in the heart of Tifton.
ALDI’s latest venture in Tifton saw a remarkable turnout as it welcomed a multitude of eager customers to commemorate the grand opening of their newest location. Patrons formed lines that stretched across the extensive parking lot, eager to explore the aisles of the new store.
Adding to the allure of the occasion, the first 100 customers were rewarded with gift bags generously stocked with samples of ALDI’s popular products, along with opportunity to participate in the ALDI golden ticket gift card giveaway program.
“We’ve been excited to enter the south Georgia market as of the last few months. The community’s been really receptive to having us out here. All of the local teams here were great to help us get this building. Opened up. And, then, the customers today have been wonderful coming in and jut a lot of excitement towards saving money on groceries, which we are happy to be apart of,” said Todd Gonzales, Director of Operations.

“We love to offer our customers incredibly great quality products at very affordable prices. So, we always look to keep our prices very low. At the same time, we do a lot of testing of our products at our national test kitchen. Our items go through an extensive testing period at our National Buying Office in Illinois, where they get tested on a weekly basis to ensure that they compete with the national brand names. So, whole the majority of our items will be private label, each one of them is carefully sourced and selected to then bring into our stores. We do get trucks daily to ensure we have the freshest product, so there won’t be a day that goes by where we don’t have a new delivery of our perishables; our fresh meat, our produce, our bread, to keep at a very high quality for us,” said Gonzales.
ALDI Tifton is located at 1805 US Hwy 82 West will offer daily operating hours from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. to fulfill customer needs.
