Free Tours of the Albany Civil Rights Movement Museum

ALBANY, Ga. – The City of Albany is having free tours of the Civil Rights Movement Museum as part of Black History Month.

Come out and immerse yourself in life in Albany, Georgia, before and during the Civil Rights Movement. Experience the oral history of ordinary people doing the extraordinary things which created the Albany Civil Rights Movement.

The tours will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. and on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Albany Civil Rights Institute, 326 Whitney Avenue, Albany, GA, 31701.
