APD’s appeal for suspected gunman

22 year old Tyreek Beckett wanted for May 13th shooting

ALBANY, GA- Albany Police are asking the community for information in locating 22 year old Tyreek Beckett, who is accused of shooting a woman who herself is currently jailed on the same charges Beckett is being sought.

APD’s Public Information Officer Phyllis Whitley-Banks says Beckett is wanted for the May 13th shooting of Cassidy Dowell. Dowell was arrested and charged for firearm possession as well as firing the weapon during the confrontation.
