Early morning Circle K armed robbery by suspect in SpongeBob mask

ALBANY, Ga. – Dougherty county law enforcement is urgently seeking information regarding an armed robbery that unfolded early this morning shortly after 2 a.m. at 2336 Liberty Expressway at the Circle K.

The suspect, described as a black male armed with a handgun and dressed in a black jacket, black pants, and a mask, seized cash from the register.

Subsequently, the suspect fled the scene on foot toward Nelms Road. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
