Albany Police searching for burglary suspect

ALBANY, Ga. – The Albany Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating 47-year-old Andrea Leon Carter, who is wanted for multiple charges related to varying incidents in the Albany area.

The latest incident occurred on Tuesday, January 9th, at Bennett’s Feed and Seed located at 1006 North Washington Street. Carter allegedly stole several pairs of Georgia Boots and damaged a window.

Carter has been implicated on multiple incidents of theft and burglary spanning from 2023 to 2024 at locations such as Bennett’s Feed Store, City Gear, Westover Lawn and Garden, Athlete’s Foot, and Home Depot.
