Arson in the 400 block of Gaines Ave

ALBANY, Ga. – On January 15, 2024, officers responded to the 400 block of Gaines Ave in reference to an arson around 12:35 A.M.

Upon arrival, the Albany Fire Department stated there was an active fire, but it was extinguished. Assistant Chief Glass determined that the fire was arson based on the evidence at the scene.
