Additional arrest made in Nov. 30 Gillionville Rd. double homicide

ALBANY, Ga. – On November 30, 2023 officers responded to a shooting at 2611 Gillionville Road which left two people deceased.

20-year-old Kesha Walton was involved in the shooting and he was shot multiple times. During the investigation it was discovered that Walton was a contributing factor in the death of the two deceased persons.

Walton was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital due to serious injuries from the shooting incident. Walton was released from Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital before he was apprehended on warrants that were taken for murder.

This morning, officers responded to the home of Kesha Walton and he was arrested without incident. Walton was transported to the Dougherty County Jail on the active murder warrants.
