Auto break-ins continue, Cordele residents cautioned to secure vehicles
CORDELE, Ga. – There are ongoing concerns in Cordele, as the city grapples with a persistent surge in auto-break ins and thefts.
Surveillance footage from multiple neighborhood cameras captured two suspects attempting to access unlocked vehicles. These incidents were concentrated in areas along East 18th Avenue, East 20th Avenue, and East 24th Avenue, during the early hours from 2 am to 5 am. Vehicles in the vicinity of East 20th Avenue have reported a break-in.
In a press release, the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office has also reported multiple Entering Autos reported to Crisp County Sheriff’s Office in the Lakeshore Way and Lakeshore Drive area. Crisp County Sheriff’s Office is investigating these incidents.
If you have cameras on your property, please check them and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement.
