3 shot, 2 dead at Albany apartment complex shooting

ALBANY, Ga. – Albany law enforcement agencies are investigating a shooting that has left multiple people dead Wednesday afternoon.

CBS 44’s Brian Roche joins us live in West Albany on Westover Boulevard outside of the apartment complex where it happened.

Brian, what do we know?

-Shooting took place around 2:30 p.m. this afternoon at Woodland Apartments

-According to APD, 3 people have been shot with two dead.

-Both deceased were 21-year-old males

-3rd victim has been transferred to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, no word on status.

-Incident caused nearby Westover High School and ASU West Campus to go into lockdown which has been lifted.

-No suspects have been named at this point in time.

The investigation is still active and ongoing at this time.
