APD arrests two men in theft and burglary

ALBANY, Ga. – Earlier this month on November 9th, authorities were dispatched to 3006 Kensington Court regarding a reported burglary. Upon arrival, law enforcement found evidence of a break-in at the establishment, where a dirt bike had been stolen. Surveillance footage assisted officers in identifying a vehicle involved in the incident.

After tracing the vehicle, officers engaged with its driver and subsequently located another individual suspected to be involved. The stolen dirt bike was recovered from a residence in the 800 block of West Mercer Avenue.

Vomug Harris Stephens

62-year-old Kim Harris and 40-year-old Gromoski Stephens were apprehended on charges of burglary, with further charges pending. Both suspects were taken to the Dougherty County Jail.
