Mark’s Melon Patch fall fun; offers free hayrides for healthcare professionals, members of the military, & first responders

SASSER, Ga. – Mark’s Melon Patch kicks off its fall fun with a heartwarming gesture of gratitude toward military personnel, health care professionals, and first responders.

Mark’s Melon Patch commences a month long series of fall activities for October with offering complimentary hayrides for healthcare professionals, members of the military, and first responders.

“We’ve been doing the free hayrides for healthcare workers, first responders and the military personnel for years. It’s just our way of saying thank you for all that they do. A lot of times what they do goes unappreciated, I don’t think it’s as appreciated as it should be. So, we just try to really highlight that and just show them how important they are; by offering free hayrides for them and their family,” said Mark Daniels, Mark’s Melon Patch owner.

Laughter and smiles filled Mark’s Melon Patch as families from across the Good Life City gather for an afternoon brimming with joy.

“There is not too much of a line on everything, it is absolutely amazing. The corn maze is a blast, you get to shoot the cannon if you get the corn maze bracelet. It’s a lot of fun. I really enjoy this place because they have free corn everywhere, and I just ate a few and it was really nice,” said fall fun attendees.

Mark’s Melon Patch offers a wide variety of enjoyable activities suitable for all visitors.

Owner of Mark’s Melon Patch, Mark Daniels, provides insight into the range of activities available…

“We take hayrides through the pumpkin field; we have a corn maze. This year’s theme is like a t-rex dinosaur. We do the flashlight nights through the corn maze on designated nights in the month. We have school field trips out here and we do a lot of cool stuff on the weekends. We have live music, lots of bounce houses, a giant slide, “Mark’s monster slide,” we call it. We also have a pumpkin cannon this year, it will actually fire a pumpkin up to 3,000 feet. So, we have a lot of neat things, pumpkin painting, face painting; a lot of stuff for all ages, whether two years old or ninety years old, there’s a lot of fun stuff to do out here,” said Daniels.
