1 victim dead, 16-year-old injured in Dorsett Avenue homicide in Albany

Investigators are currently following up on leads.

ALBANY, Ga. – At 8:38 p.m. Wednesday, Albany officers responded to the 500 block of Dorsett Avenue in reference a shooting.

One victim, identified as 27-year-old Deoandra Devon Butler, was found deceased from multiple gunshot wounds in the roadway.

A second victim only 16-years of age was located and transported by ambulance to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are currently following up on leads.
