TIFTON, Ga. – The City of Tifton welcomed “Kayla Metcalf Photos” to town as they cut the ribbon today in celebration of the start of her business.

“I had some amazing friends and family help me along the way, it still doesn’t feel real yet but I’m thankful,” said Kayla Metcalf, Owner, “Kayla Metcalf Photos”

“They were several hundreds of dollars, just for five photos on a disc and I remember when I couldn’t pay for those they put them in the trash and I cried,” said Metcalf.

So, Kayla decided that…

“I’m going to start doing this and I’m going to figure out how to stay at home with my daughter but still provide people with photos that they cherish,” said Metcalf.

But, finding her own unique style for photography wasn’t easy.

“There are a lot of photographers and really just trying to set myself apart from everybody else, finding my own style and I’m kind of all over the place,” said Metcalf.

But, her results speak for themselves.

“She captured it like so perfectly, and while we were working with her she even knows a little bit of Spanish, so it was great for our family,” said Marijan Martinez, Friend of Owner.
