CORDELE, Ga. – On Monday, the Mid-South Narcotics Task Force and Crisp County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team executed a search warrant at 608 8th Street South in Cordele.
The search resulted in recovery of suspected crack cocaine, suspected tramadol pills, and cash.
47-year-old Keaton Smith and 36-year-old Wanda Peterson, both of Cordele, were arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of a schedule four controlled substance, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a housing project, and prescription drugs not in the original container.
Both individuals were booked into the Crisp County Jail.
