“And, we’re going to be doing a tournament on the 22nd, that is hopefully gonna bring in a lot of backpacks. Instead of paying a fee to compete against other people, you’re just bringing a backpack and that’s your entry fee. We’re gonna have prizes for the first, second, and third place and little trophies we’re gonna give out. It’s gonna be a good time for all levels of experience, beginners and professionals alike,” Cauley said.

Local businesses are also welcome to the competition…

“If any local business that wanted to come in and throw against each other in the tournament, then we can make the tournaments private ones too. Say if Albany Internal Medicine wanted to come out or if a bank wanted to come out and bring their employees as a team, then they can bring the backpacks and they can sponsor their own competition,” Cauley said.

Cauley talks about being involved in the community…

We just love to be apart of the community. We are Chamber members, we try to get out and help non-profits, we’ve done things for the Heritage of Hope, we’ve done things for Habitat of Humanity here in Albany. We wanted to give back to the aspire clubhouse. My daughters in the clubhouse in Lee County, and it was just a good non-profit to involve in this backpack drive,” Cauley said.
