ALBANY, Ga. – Albany Technical College announces a 100% pass rate on the NCLEX exam for their associate science in nursing graduates. All graduates from Albany Technical College’s nursing program are fully prepared to enter the nursing profession.
Associate of Science and Nursing program director, Dr. Latrona Lanier talks about the preparation for the exam.
“We prepare the students the moment they walk in the door. From their first semester until the very end, they are prepping for this NCLEX exam. The version that they have taken or that these students just took, this was the first attempt at that version, and it’s called the next gen,” said Dr. Latrona Lanier, Associate of Science and Nursing program director.
It can be a rigorous exam and it does require much dedication and studying to accomplish this goal. But we have committed students here and we have wonderful and diligent faculty members.
Dr. Lanier talks about the dedication of the students and faculty.
“We have an evening program. So, these are most of the time non-traditional students who work during the day and then come here during the evenings and the weekends to achieve this goal,” she said.
“Our faculty collectively, we have greater than 150 years of experience. Just to have that experience for our students speaks volumes as well as to the quality of students we put out into the community,” she said.
