CBS 44 Weather Authority Forecast: July 3, 2023

Not as hot for the Fourth of July!

Continue to practice heat safety! Stay hydrated, stay in A/C if you can and limit time outdoors. Look before you lock to keep from leaving your pets/children in hot car. Fourth of July will still be hot as a firecracker, but not as hot as the past several days. Temperatures in the low-mid 90’s with “feels-like” 100-105 which is just below a heat advisory. Isolated showers and thunderstorms from Mother Nature’s fireworks will be possible. Not a complete washout for those grill-outs, celebrations, and man-made fireworks. More seasonal conditions takes us from mid-late week with increasing chances of scattered showers and thunderstorms and temperatures closer to average.
