TIFTON, Ga. – I’m at the ABAC’s Georgia Museum of Agriculture where they’re hosting a Freedom Festival in celebration of Independence Day.
“It’s our way to celebrate the independence of America and to us it’s a subtle way to do it,” said Garrett Boone, director of Freedom Festival.
Many war veterans came out to this celebration of their hard work as well.
“They served and they are paying tribute to those that did not come home,” said Raymond Schults, Air Force Veteran.
All veterans sacrificed a great deal for our society today.
“Their were a lot of sacrifices made to get us where we are today and the freedom’s that we do celebrate today were due to the sacrifices of many,” said Boone.
Freedom is granted to us by all veterans.
“If you lived in a foreign country and they are restricted on what they can do, the biggest majority of the time in the United States everything is free and we can do what we want,” said Raymond Schults, Air Force Veteran.
