The Batemen summer program’s focus is on the social skills of children.

“I think that it’s going to help them with interpersonal skills because they need to know how to conduct themselves with other kids,” she said.

But, don’t worry kids… Director Tift says they’ll be a lot of fun to be had as well.

“We’ll do something fun that will tie them and help them see they’re all the same with some differences, but we’ll do something special,” she said.

Batemen’s summer program wants give kids a summer experience that’s more than video games.

“This summer camp is going to help fill the gap and give kids meaningful experiences that may otherwise not be had,” she said.

Registration for the summer camp is closing soon with only 28 slots left.
