Earn $15 hourly as new garden manager in Dougherty county
ALBANY, Ga. – Flint River Fresh continues to grow and give back to the community through innovative community and school gardens projects, urban farming education initiatives, and fresh from the garden produce markets and giveaways. Keeping up with the demand to give neighbors in need more healthy food access points, Flint River Fresh is taking applications for a new team member – Garden Manager. The part-timer will earn $15 hourly working alongside Fredando Jackson, Executive Director – aka Farmer Fredo – cultivating, planting, managing, and harvesting multiple community food production sites including the 5th Avenue Community Garden and 4C Academy’s agribusiness school garden projects. Also, the position offers the opportunity to develop community engagement, project management, and produce market logistics skills.
Flint River Fresh is excited about growing its team and encourages all area neighbors who have experience in agriculture and farming with the basic technical skills to navigate Google workspace to apply.
