Snapology brings STEAM/STEM summer camps to Tifton

TIFTON, Ga. – Snapology is a children’s enrichment franchise that encourages social skills and teamwork by teaching science, technology, engineering, art, math and literacy concepts. Snapology’s newest Discovery Center location in Tifton is owned and operated by local entrepreneurs Sebrina and Danny Mann. Both Sebrina and Danny grew up in Cordele, GA and enjoy teaching and working with children. Danny is an Army Veteran with 20 years in training and development experience. Sebrina has 15 years of teaching experience with children in grades K-12. The Manns felt compelled to expand the current STEM/STEAM opportunities being offered to students in the Tifton community through Snapology. “As students search for opportunities to expand their knowledge, they need new ways to learn to not feel as if learning is a chore,” explains Danny. “Snapology is giving students of Tifton the opportunity to learn while having fun and expanding their skills. Students realize that STEM/STEAM inspires creativity in all aspects of learning and is a guiding force for future careers.”

The Manns originally opened Snapology of Tifton in 2020 as a mobile-based business, bringing Snapology’s top-rated STEAM programs to the community by partnering with local schools, community centers, libraries, homeschool groups and other businesses that could host their workshops, camps and classes. Since their initial opening, Snapology of Tifton has expanded its reach by establishing a dedicated facility for its programs and camps, in addition to their ongoing mobile partnerships with the community.

In 2022, Snapology of Tifton officially opened their Discovery Center as a brick and mortar business. Children ages 4-14 can now visit Snapology of Tifton’s Discovery Center during creative play hours to explore interactive educational STEM stations and enjoy structured activities lead by Snapology instructors. Structured activities include age-appropriate robotics, engineering, and creative programs. The Discovery Center also has regularly scheduled classes, workshops, and summer camps that are open for registration to the public. Summer camps begin the week of May 29. Snapology is offering morning, afternoon, full week, and one day options for children ages 5-14.
