CBS 44 Weather Authority Forecast: April 7, 2023
Soggy Saturday starts out the Easter weekend. Rounds of rainfall, becoming widespread for the afternoon and evening. Some of the rain may be heavy at times. Showers remain possible overnight towards sunrise Easter Sunday morning. Rain tapers off on Sunday, but still overcast, cool, and breezy throughout the day for those egg hunts. There may be a peek or two of sunshine in the afternoon. Temperatures in the mornings will be in upper 40’s and in the upper 50’s-low 60’s. Gradual warming trend next week with temperatures returning closer to seasonal norms. Rain chances return by mid to late next week with the possibility of a Gulf low pressure system developing with confidence increasing in this happening. Rainfall totals could reach 1 to 3 inches.
