Crisp Regional Hospital's Emergency Room Floods
CORDELE, GA – Friday night, several trauma cases related to violent community events presented at Crisp Regional Hospital emergency room.
In the midst of treating these cases, a mental health patient damaged and activated the fire sprinkler system in the emergency room, resulting in flooding of the entire emergency department, ER registration, and waiting room, outpatient entrance, and medical imaging.
According to officials at Crisp Regional Hospital, the emergency department at Crisp Regional is back up and operational.
