Sen. Jon Ossoff provides financial support to Moody Air Force Base

MOODY AFB, GA – Senator Jon Ossoff was at Moody Air Force today, to talk about the multiple infrastructure improvements that he has been able to push through Congress, in order to better support the men and women who serve our country.“I am pleased to announce that I am delivering facilities to support the new helicopters, the new HH-60 Whiskey variant helicopters, that are upgrading the capabilities of combat rescue units like the one based here and across the country,” said Senator Ossoff.

At a Friday press conference Senator Ossoff announced that these facilities will be geared towards combat rescue, something that Moody AFB is a relatively big player in.The senator says the critical operations facilities will get an update with both of these piggybacking on that new helicopter that was just introduced. While the main focus of the press conference was facilities and technology, Senator Ossoff made it clear that he sees these upgrades as being more for the people who use them.“I’m full of gratitude, as I know we all are, for the sacrifices made military service members, their spouses, and their children. These are families who are committed to our national defense, and it’s my job to make sure they are equipped and have the facilities necessary to execute their missions safely, to ensure they have a quality of life that they deserve, so these upgrades I’m delivering to Moody Air Force Base are for them,” said Sen. Ossoff.Senator Ossoff also made it clear that this will not be the end, that he will continue to support Moody Air Force Base any way that he can.
