60-year-old man killed in double hit and run incident

ALBANY, Ga. – At approximately 5:46 a.m. Monday, authorities were called to the 1200 block of South Mock Road following a tragic pedestrian fatality.

A 60-year-old man was walking in the median of this block when he was initially struck by a silver 2007 Honda Accord traveling northbound. Subsequently, the pedestrian was hit a second time by an unidentified dark-colored SUV heading southbound, which fled the scene after the collision. Sadly, the pedestrian died from his sustained injuries.
