6-year-old recovering after being hit by car in Tifton; GoFundMe campaign set up
TIFTON, Ga. – On Friday, April 26th, a 6-year-old boy was hit by an intoxicated driver while reportedly riding his scooter in his driveway.
Ross McClellan is in ICU at an Atlanta hospital suffering from a brain bleed.
According to his mother, Lauren McClellan, the condition of her son is improving some, stating “results of his MRI show a ligament injury to his neck and that he will have to wear a neck brace for the next six weeks. He does have damage to his kidneys.”
She said, “Moving him out of ICU into a regular room is the goal, but not until his pain and vomiting is under control. Small steps, but we are headed in the right direction! Again, thank you to everyone who has reached out, sent things, donated money, and especially prayed for him!”
As of now, $3,135 of $5,000 goal has been raised in a GoFundMe campaign. To donate click here.
