5th annual Flint River Entertainment Complex 5K Race Series “Turkey Trot” set to take place on Saturday
ALBANY, Ga. – Back in Albany, the Flint River Entertainment Complex is gearing up for their holiday tradition.
The 5th annual “Turkey Trot” is set to take place this Saturday, the 23rd starting in downtown Albany.
It’s the final event in the Entertainment Complex’s 5K Race Series and they’re also using it to help Feeding the Valley Food Bank.
Runners will be allowed to register up to the morning of the event and will receive free entry if they donate 10 non-perishable foods.
Regional Director, Harry Day, tells us about doing some good with the event.
The “Turkey Trot” will start at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Registration can be done in-person, or through the Flint River Entertainment Complex.
