4 arrested in Cedar Ave. homicide investigation, multiple firearms seized
ALBANY, Ga. – At around 10:30 p.m. on December 6th, Albany law enforcement officers encountered a black Honda Accord that matched the description in an earlier be on the lookout alert while investigators were at the site of a homicide.
Authorities recovered several firearms and confiscated contraband during the operation.
20-year-old Fred Kentrell Kaylor, 20-year-old Scotty Tyler Jr., 25-year-old Ty’Quan Demarquise Rollins, and 23-year-old D’Travion Jerome Sims were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and drug related objects. Sims also had five outstanding warrants from prior cases. All subjects were transported to the Dougherty County Jail.
