2025 Sunbelt Ag Expo returns to Spence Field in Moultrie this week Oct. 14–16

MOULTRIE, Ga. – North America’s Premier Farm Show is back! The 2025 Sunbelt Ag Expo returns to Spence Field in Moultrie from Tuesday, October 14, through Thursday, October 16, bringing together the best in agricultural innovation, education, and community for three days dedicated to the future of farming.

The annual event draws tens of thousands of visitors from across the Southeast and beyond, featuring more than 1,200 exhibitors, over 300 educational seminars and field demonstrations, and a 100-acre exhibit area connected to a 530-acre working research farm. From large-scale producers to backyard growers, there’s something for everyone, including the chance to see the latest in precision agriculture, livestock management, irrigation technology, and sustainable practices.

The Expo kicks off Tuesday, October 14, with an opening ceremony at 9:15 a.m., followed by the Innovation Award presentation and the announcement of the Southeastern Farmer of the Year. This year, Georgia is represented by Kent Hamilton of Southern Valley Fruit and Vegetable, in Norman Park, who will compete for the region’s top agricultural honor. The day also includes special ribbon cuttings, the annual Willie B. Withers Luncheon, and a crowd-favorite cow milking contest at 2:30 p.m.

Georgia Agricultural Commissioner Tyler Harper will help showcase Georgia agriculture in Spotlight State building as this year’s Spotlight State of the Year. Learn about the rich past, thriving present, and exciting future of Georgia agriculture.

Wednesday, October 15, puts young farmers and future ag leaders in the spotlight with FFA tractor driving competitions, youth educational challenges, and an Advocacy in Action contest sponsored by the Georgia Farm Bureau. There’s also a special “Rural Road Safety” program hosted by the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS), followed by youth-focused awards and another round of dairy fun with a youth milking contest.

The Expo wraps up on Thursday, October 16, with final livestock events and the Grand Prize and Major Door Prize Drawing sponsored by Agri Supply Co.

Beyond the main stage, visitors can explore hands-on field demonstrations showcasing cotton, peanuts, soybeans, and hay harvesting, as well as tillage and precision ag technology in action. Daily antique tractor parades, livestock shows, and opportunities to meet with industry experts make the Expo a one-of-a-kind experience for anyone passionate about agriculture.

Gates are open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday. Admission is $15 at the gate or $10 online, with parking included.
