2023 Women’s Golf Day event at Flint Municipal Golf Course
Latonya Wilson, Women’s Golf Day participant says its more about the togetherness and fellowship.
ALBANY, Ga. – Women from all across the Good Life City came to work on their swing at the Flint Municipal Golf Course.
Women enjoyed an evening on the green for the Flint River Municipal Golf Course’s 2023 Women’s Golf Day.
Latonya Wilson, Women’s Golf Day participant says its more about the togetherness and fellowship.
“My experience with golf started eight years ago and I didn’t think I would be very interested in it. And, I did because of the leadership here at flint river golf. I enjoy the camaraderie. I enjoy the fellowship. Today was a special day, I really enjoyed women’s golf day,” said Latonya Wilson, participant.
This event is designed to celebrate and empower young ladies and women playing golf, learning the rules of the game, and enhancing their skills on the course.
“Just like any other sorority or any other community of ladies, it felt real good for us to be together as a sisterhood. Learning a game that is wonderful. Being taught, of all colors and of all ages,” said Wilson.
