18-year-old dies in motorcycle crash

ALBANY, Ga. – On February 17, 2025, officers responded to the intersection of Clark Ave and Cordele Rd in reference to a serious injury crash involving a motorcycle around 7:28 P.M.

The motorcycle rider, Cameron Nichols (18) was traveling eastbound on Clark Ave attempting to turn left on Cordele Rd. He failed to yield causing him to collide with a Chevy Impala traveling westbound. Nichols succumbed to his injuries at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and the driver of the Impala did not have injuries.

There will be no charges for this incident.
