1 person arrested, 1 person wanted in connection to aggravated assault of pregnant woman

CORDELE, Ga. – On August 26, 2025, shortly before noon, the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding an aggravated assault within the city limits. The victim, a pregnant woman, was taken to Crisp Regional Hospital for treatment. The suspects, Keyonna Killens and Anjarvius Lavant, fled the scene after kicking in the door and assaulting the victim by kicking and hitting her.

Anjarvius Lavant, a 29-year-old male from Cordele, GA, was later arrested and is charged with:

• Aggravated Assault
• Home Invasion – 2nd Degree
• Criminal Damage to Property – 2nd Degree
• Criminal Attempt to Commit a Felony

The Crisp County Sheriff’s Office is seeking your assistance in locating Keyonna Killens. Keyonna Killens is a 30-year-old female from Vienna, GA. She is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 185 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Killens is wanted for the following charges:

• Aggravated Assault
• Criminal Attempt to Commit Fetecide
• Home Invasion – 1st Degree
• Criminal Damage to Property – 2nd Degree (3 counts)
