1 dead, 2 injured in South Albany shooting, two people taken in for questioning; investigation active and ongoing

ALBANY, Ga. – Police are investigating a deadly shooting that took place early Wednesday evening.

Law enforcement responded to a shooting that took place a little after 5 pm in the 600 block of Willard Avenue.

Two people are shot with one being pronounced dead from their injuries. The other has been transferred to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Police say two people have already been brought in for questioning.

The investigation is still active at this time.
